My personal sprinting breakdown with the Aperto System is BELOW!
Video 1 Breakdown:
I love trying to figure out how to prime myself as best I can in my warmup.
It's exciting when I see improved results when I plug the video into the system--this is Rep 1 of an acceleration workout.
Sadly, I didn't feel warmed up enough and it showed. This video, I did a standing acceleration hitting a Max V of 6.42 m/s which is pretty slow for me 😢.
Areas where the velocity curve dips tell me that I can do better at striking under my body at those points.
Even though it's a "slow" rep, I gain confidence from knowing what I can do better.
Video 2 Breakdown:
I feel great at this point--this second video is Rep 3 of the same acceleration workout.
I feel especially AMAZING because I PR'd my speed here--I hit a Max V of 6.99 m/s.
I'm proud that I did much better striking under my body--I can see the result in the smoothness of the velocity curve.
Next time I struggle to hit my positions, I can look back on this record to copy the same feeling of my best rep across all future reps.
